Unlike others, most of our coaches are also trained counsellors, which means we can also deal with any emotional issues that arise. You don’t have to leave part of yourself at the door when you enter our coaching session, we understand what makes people tick: why we sometimes struggle to achieve what we want and how to unlock our potential. We are warm, supportive, experienced coaches who are here to help you realise your dreams and start living your best life, authentically… We offer different types of coaching, including NLP, to help you achieve the life you want to live. We believe in championing the person you were always destined to be - the seed is within you; you just may need a little support to bloom and show the world your true self.
Depression can come on suddenly or build up almost unnoticeably over time. Although it affects people in different ways it tends to make most people feel tired, lethargic, lacking in motivation and often unable to take proper care of themselves. The causes are many and varied; from a sudden change in life circumstances to a general disillusionment in life. We can help you explore the causes and find a way to a more positive place.
Anxiety can be borne out of a single event, such as being made redundant, or be a more general state of affairs. Whilst it may seem to be serving a purpose it actually prevents many people from taking the necessary steps forward and can be debilitating - causing loss of sleep, decreased appetite and losing the ability to function as normal. Seeing one of our supportive and understanding therapists can be a positive way to get the support and help you need to overcome the anxiety.
Stress is a part of life. It often comes hand in hand with times when we really need to step up our game. However, ongoing, or over-heightened stress is damaging to our physical and mental health and vey tiring. Our therapists can help you investigate what is causing it, help you develop steps to recognise any life patterns that you may be repeating and find healthy ways to mange it.
Relationships are hugely important to most people; the quality and expectations of them varies over time and depending upon the type of relationship, and of course, the other party involved. However, we tend to recreate similar types of relationships through our lives , some of which are no longer serving us. Our therapists can help you look at this and develop healthier ways to relate to other important people in your life.
Trauma can occur at any time of live; from infancy or even in utero, to the moment of death. It may be witnessing or being involved in violence, danger or other threat to life. It may be less acute and occur in a way that you wonder if it could actually be termed trauma, and yet you feel traumatised. Examples of this are often seen in people's upbringing; with parents who unknowingly (or deliberately) detrimentally affected the child's stability, self-esteem and view of themselves and others. We have specialists who can in help you talk about and begin to recover from trauma.
Our work-life balance can tend to change and vary throughout our lives. At times it may feel okay to put in extra time and effort into work, at others you may want to be with your family or have time to yourself more. If it feels too restrictive or out of control then you can feel exhausted and begin to suffer from burn-out. Our therapists can help you explore the issues and find what will work for you.
Grief and loss can occur when someone we care about dies, but can also occur when we loose something important to us- that could be a status, a way of life or even part of our own identity to belief system. It can be very lonely and scary. Our therapists can help you talk it through and support you through the process.
